I still remember his late nite show, but better yet, when his wife, Jane Meadows went on PBS, doing a satire on different politics and important people from different parts of history. Having'm debate each other, talking about their responses to each other's era and what was going on in each other's country and political dialogs.He had 3 books dealing with this PBS seres,I bought'm.

STEVE ALLEN was the creator and original host of The Tonight Show and has been inducted into the Television Academy's Hall of Fame. In 1993, he succeeded Milton Berle as Abbot of the world-famous Friar's Club. Mr. Allen is married to actress-comedian Jayne Meadows and lives in Encino, California.
