I could imagine and taste the food that they created, and picture the handsome Edward and his gentle accomodating love for Marjan. I love the way the book brings the recipes into life. I have yet to read Pomegranite Soup, although it was the prequal to this, and will be doing so as my next book. I would highly reccomend this book for anyone searching for a good read... its one of those read in one sitting kind of books; the best kind!

Born in Tehran, Iran, Marsha Mehran escaped the Revolution with her family. She has since lived in such diverse places as Buenos Aires, The United States, Australia and Ireland. Her first novel, Pomegranate Soup was an international bestseller. She lives in New York, where she is busy spinning more tales.
