About this ebook

Having completed the two cycles of legend to which she has devoted her career so far, Anne Rice gives us now her most ambitious and courageous book, a novel about the early years of CHRIST THE LORD, based on the Gospels and on the most respected New Testament scholarship.

The book’s power derives from the passion its author brings to the writing and the way in which she summons up the voice, the presence, the words of Jesus who tells the story.

She captures the spirit of Yeshua, or what I would call the unmistakable deity for a provocative translation. A true medium is rare these days, taking on any historical figure is difficult. The most controversial figure known to our planet? Not many people attempt it. It's in my experience that if you search for him, with all of your focus & patience: he will reveal himself from within you. A beautiful read, highly recommended for any Passover celebration. 💕

As a fan of Ann Rice's witches & vampires, I came across this book in the bookstore at my church. Not knowing she had delved into a new genre, my interest was piqued, so I bought it. I read it beginning to end in just a day or two. I was so riveted to the story, as only she could portray. I loved it and am looking forward to reading more!

There are hypothetical scriptures on His youth in other books but its unknown how factual it is since its not in the bible. I think just about every christian wonders about the missing years.
