I've been a blog reader and cheerleader since Spring 2011. I knew essentially what to expect and was not disappointed. She still managed to throw in an unexpected surprise. Here is a woman well loved, a wise mom, and at last undeniably, an author. I highly recommend this book for the newly widowed, and perhaps more so for the newlywed. Once more a team, let Robb & Tricia "show you how it's done."

I sat down to read this book on my one true day off every month; I work full time from home and my children are 5 & 6, but once a month I undergo a medical IV treatment, and on this day I don't work and I send the kids to a caregiver. I share this info because I want you, dear reader, to know I value every moment of this special day, and I only spend time with worthy resources - you know - like decorating magazines and junky television. I sat down at my favorite taco joint after my treatment to begin reading this book, and I didn't leave until I'd finished the book - over four hours later. IT IS THAT GOOD. I laughed out loud (and looked around to see if fellow patrons thought I was NUTSO). I cried, dabbing away tears with a fast food napkin. I shook my head in awe of the hope-infused tragedy of Tricia Lott Williford's story, and the grace and beauty of her portrayal of it. I am a novel-reading girl, for the most part, but I picked this book up because I have heard the author speak, and my perspective on life, motherhood, marriage and family was richer for it. I suspected her book would be a decent read, but I am BLOWN AWAY. I recommend this book for any woman seeking perspective, dealing with loss, wondering how to support someone else who is grieving, or anyone who loves to hear someone else's story told in an unforgettable way. There are details of Tricia's story, both humorous and haunting, that will remain with me for the rest of my life. You will not regret reading this book, and if you don't read it, you are missing out.
