The ideas he mentions in the book is applicable to all types of art and even to real life while thinking or arguing with someone. This becomes a very important question: what percentage am I naive and what percentage sentimental? And does that ratio determine my character or perhaps is it the concept that er mean by character?
About the author
Orhan Pamuk won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2006. His novel My Name Is Red won the 2003 IMPAC Dublin Literary Award. His work has been translated into more than fifty languages. He lives in Istanbul.
