Amazing

I feel like I will become an actual psychopath if I read this again

This book has every element of postmodern literature

American Psycho is extremely complex. The way the characters are aware of the world is advanced in every way possible. The narrator, Patrick Bateman, provides readers with both a window into a portrayal of an actual psychotic killer, and a satirical version of a successful wall street tycoon. In between killing sprees (which are more graphic than can be described in this review) and hilarious satire of daily routine and high quality products, there is quite dull and boring descriptions of what people are wearing and music reviews but that aside the book is superb.

One of the worst books of all time

Nothing more than the diary of rich, white loser who murdered people for sport. This book deserved to be banned and probably shouldn’t be published anymore.
