Great story of struggle, honesty and faith. I was drawn not so much to the fact that Cedric "makes it," but more so by how he struggles, questions and pushes until he can find his place. Ron's sincere and balanced picture of the protagonist doesn't ascribe to perfection or even overtly inspirational, but a character people can relate to and strive towards. Definitely worth reading!

From 1993 to 2000 he was the senior national affairs writer for The Wall Street Journal, where he won a Pulitzer Prize for Feature Writing. He currently writes for various national magazines, including The New York Times Magazine and Esquire, and is the senior fellow at Harvard’s Center of Ethics. He lives in Harvard Square, MA.
