About this audiobook

The era of the Old Republic is a dark and dangerous time, as Jedi Knights valiantly battle the Sith Lords and their ruthless armies. But the Sith have disturbing plansā€”and none more so than the fulfillment of Darth Scabrousā€™s fanatical dream, which is about to become nightmarish reality.

Unlike those other Jedi sidelined to the Agricultural Corpsā€”young Jedi whose abilities have not proved up to snuffā€”Hestizo Trace possesses one extraordinary Force talent: a gift with plants. Suddenly her quiet existence among greenhouse and garden specimens is violently destroyed by the arrival of an emissary from Darth Scabrous. For the rare black orchid that she has nurtured and bonded with is the final ingredient in an ancient Sith formula that promises to grant Darth Scabrous his greatest desire.

But at the heart of the formula is a never-before-seen virus thatā€™s worse than fatalā€”it doesnā€™t just kill, it transforms. Now the rotting, ravenous dead are rising, driven by a bloodthirsty hunger for all things livingā€”and commanded by a Sith Master with an insatiable lust for power and the ultimate prize: immortality . . . no matter the cost.

This book is the equivalent to every Zombie movie and book in existence, the only difference is these literal Zombies can use the force to a degree. This was a very hard book to finish, it was extremely monotonous, and honesty not creative in the slightest. I have most of the Star Wars audio books thier is, and I've listened to all of them many times with the notable exception to this book, as I refuse to EVER listen to this stupid book ever again, it's that bad

very rarely do I give such a low rating. I was so excited to read this book because of death troopers, and sadly this book is just awful. it's boring from start to finish. the plot makes almost no sense. Almost as if the characters had plot armor then lost it then regained it for the exact same thing they could and couldn't do. it took 3.5 hours to introduce the infected and even that was boring. characters are introduced and I'm not sure why as they had absolutely nothing to do with the plot just to be eliminated immediately after it brought nothing to the story. only reason I didn't delete it and move on was because I was hoping it would get better. so I'm here to beg you, please spend your money on a different book. please read the reviews don't be willfully ignorant like I was. if you've bought this book recently request a refund asap. otherwise hope you have a better experience than I.

This book takes two great things and mixes it pretty poorly. It had alot of potential that is never realized. The last 10 chapter were pretty good but that was about the only good things to the books. That being said I am still happy I gave it a go and finished it. Just wish it was better.
