Found this while looking for non-fiction. It “reads” like fiction. The resilience in the face of Unimaginable hardship is humbling. The narrator did a lovely job as well. I can’t imagine anyone being sorry for experiencing this book. Just bought it as a gift for my son. He’s got a huge heart. I’m sure he’ll appreciate it. I wish everyone could experience it. It’s an eye-opener.

Katherine Boo is a staff writer at The New Yorker and a former reporter and editor for The Washington Post. Her reporting has been awarded a Pulitzer Prize, a MacArthur “Genius” grant, and a National Magazine Award for Feature Writing. For the last decade, she has divided her time between the United States and India. This is her first book.
