The author must have done extensive research with investment banks, hedge funds, High Frequency Trading firms, etc.
One thing I didn't like: the Chief Risk/Compliance officer gets fired by the CEO (Hugo) for doing his job and no one says a word to protest that. One would think there'd be some sort of oversight committee for such a large hedge fund ($Bs in AUM). If not, than trading could easily run wild and limited partners wiped out in a few trading days. That actually happened to a multi-strategy hedge fund I was invested in!

His work has been translated into thirty-seven languages, and he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. He has been a television correspondent for the BBC, political editor of The Observer, and a columnist for The Sunday Times and The Daily Telegraph. He lives in a village near Hungerford in Berkshire, England.
