Very good story. I wasn't sure where it was headed but it surly changed from a light read to something more. I read until the end, did not want to go to sleep without knowing the ending.

my first love for Tessa Dare! this book took me to many her great books! and I must say this is my comfort book. the story is light and fun to catch

Tessa Dare uses the "big misunderstanding" trope so masterfully in her debut novel. The chemistry that took Jeremy and Lucy by surprise kept me reading. But as the story goes on, the author slowly gives the reader puzzle pieces as to why these two people have the walls and wounds that they do--and all those puzzle pieces fit together in the end. This is the first Tessa Dare book I've read, and I've been very impressed and satisfied with how the whole story tied up together. It made me excited for more from the author and the series. 🥰

Tessa Dare is a part-time librarian, full-time mommy, and swing-shift writer. She makes her home in Southern California, where she shares a cozy, cluttered bungalow with her husband, their two children, and a dog.
