Worth the read for a true fan, but I will admit that I was a little disappointed. Perhaps my expectations for an epic conclusion were slightly unrealistic, but it seemed less exciting than the previous books. That being said, I don't regret reading it at all. I mildly regret paying $13.99 for a digital copy tho...

This author has such talent! I was delighted to see this book released, and so sad that this is the end of an epic series. Highly recommended from start to finish of the series and this final volume! Adventure, dragons, battles, alternate history. ..thank you Ms. Novi for many pleasurable hours of entertainment!

A bombastic, verbose, and kindhearted period to a sentence of the same character. Never sycophantic, nor simple-minded, this story neatly severs each and every Gordian knot laid before it as an inheritance from its eight forebears. Thank you, Ms. Novik, for the service you have done us, and may God speed you along your way.
