Love joan Johnston novels from cricket to sloan to this one come to find cricket husband was hurt in the war end being lied to and her step bro luke was killed wow loved this book and had tears from the beginning to end but glad she named her son after jake father and cricket husband jarrett :-)

Wonderful read. Never fails, always enjoy stories written by Joan. Can't wait to start reading another one of her novels.
