Where to begin? Lazy writing to start. Such a good concept that is simply not fleshed out. Short snippets of action sequences and a boring narrator. Book should have been TWICE as long but is cut short in so many places. Read a cliff note summary and move on.

the narrator was Bland and emotionless I couldn't tell who was talking or whether or not any action was taking place because of the monotone of his voice I hope the next book isn't like this

Hands down the most incredibly written and well thought out antagonists. The Vong are unrivaled even by the sith of old as a threat to All life in the galaxy. From their technology to their hate of our non living abominations they are the the anti everything the alliance holds dear. Worst yet the Jedi are blind to them and take heavy losses of characters we've loved for years. Salvatore pulled no punches on keeping you from putting this book down for want to know what is about to happen.
