How I Live Now

Watched the movie first not knowing it was a book. I fell in love with the movie it was so wonderful. The book disappointed me in all my years of reading I normally always love my books over movies. This is the first time I have not. The book was poorly written if you ask me. I thought there would be more understanding of the piper and Edmond relationship more details but no it was quick and basically skipped through really fast. The details were poor. I think it could have been written way better. Nice try

I am currently reading this book and so far I think it's wonderful. The character Daisy is moves from New York to England to live with her Aunt. Her dad got remarried whenever Daisy's mother died, and Daisy seems to hate her. I liked how Daisy was put into an usually situation with her Aunt being away, and a war seems to break out. The Author wrote the book very well, it's very descriptive and gives you a good perspevctive of what the situation is like. The theme of this book so far, I'd say it was that live isn't something easy that goes perfectly, it's a rough road and you have to be able to deal with it. What I didn't like about this book was that the situation seems to unreal, I could never picture myself being in a situation like that. I do have a connection with this book because of the fact that we live away from most of my family and I have so many cousins and relatives that I have never met. I would recommed this book to anyone who likes books that have an unsually problem.

Def could have had more detailed events throughout to make this an excellent book. The details in it, however, are great, just not enough events to make this a journey for the reader. As far as the love story between Daisy and Edmond, it was too short at the beginning and the end is so wide open that I feel there is no closure.
