About the author

KITTY WELLS (a.k.a. Lee Weatherly) was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. She moved to the U.K. in 1995, and now lives in Hampshire with her husband. She's written Breakfast at Sadie's, Kat Got Your Tongue, Missing Abby, and Child X, and is also the author of Bloomsbury U.K.'s Glitterwings Academy series for younger children.

JOANNA HARRISON studied at St. Martin's School of Art and Goldsmith's College and went on to work at TVC Animation as an animator and storyboard artist. She worked on a variety of films and commercials and was part of the animation team behind Raymond Brigg's The Snowman, The Bear, and When the Wind Blows. After the birth of her first child, Joanna began writing and illustrating children's books, including Grizzly Dad. Joanna also teaches animation at a school in Oxford.
