I was a New Yorker during the heyday of Adam's famous Cinnamon Snail food Truck, rated the highest establishment on Yelp in 2014. There was always a line down the block at lunch time, but I went there often and as a new vegan was blown away by the food and pastries. Truly blown away. This book takes much of that genius and add a bit of extra creative dishes, sauces, and much more. Be prepared to buy some exotic ingredients if you want to stick as close as possible to the recipe, and spend a bit of time, but the results should be incredible most of the time. Adam is a brilliant and creative chef, testing recipes to perfection and fusing elements from many different cuisines.

About the author

ADAM SOBEL is the chef and owner of the four-time Vendy Award-winning vegan food truck the Cinnamon Snail. He has appeared on Food Network and PBS and has written about vegan food for Vegetarian Times. He teaches vegan cooking classes at the Institute for Culinary Education in New York. When he's not in the city, he and his vegan family can be found in Red Bank, New Jersey--usually practicing yoga and snuggling with their doggies.
