Unabridged Audiobook
A complex view on a man widely viewed as the worst pope in history and his family. Alexander VI def wasn’t a good man, but he comes across as a competent king of the Papal States. Also, the writer questions a lot of things we always believed about this family and with good reason. The audio quality of the recording wasn’t great, but that kind of made it more relaxing to listen to. Don’t go in expecting a high energy reading about sex and violence.
More insights into this startling and infamous family.
