About this ebook

As seen on EWTN, bestselling author Scott Hahn unveils the mysteries of the Mass, offering readers a deeper appreciation of the most familiar of Catholic rituals.

Of all things Catholic, there is nothing that is so familiar as the Mass. With its unchanging prayers, the Mass fits Catholics like their favorite clothes. Yet most Catholics sitting in the pews on Sundays fail to see the powerful supernatural drama that enfolds them. Pope John Paul II described the Mass as "Heaven on Earth," explaining that what "we celebrate on Earth is a mysterious participation in the heavenly liturgy."

The Lamb’s Supper reveals a long-lost secret of the Church: The early Christians' key to understanding the mysteries of the Mass was the New Testament Book of Revelation. With its bizarre imagery, its mystic visions of heaven, and its end-of-time prophecies, Revelation mirrors the sacrifice and celebration of the Eucharist.

Beautifully written, in clear direct language, bestselling Catholic author Scott Hahn's new book will help readers see the Mass with new eyes, pray the liturgy with a renewed heart, and enter into the Mass more fully, enthusiastically, intelligently, and powerfully than ever before.

A book worth reading. The first time I heard of this book that Scott Hahn wrote was when a Catholic priest gave me a copy of the book. And once I started reading it, I founded it very interesting to read and the more I read it, I began to have a connection with the daily Catholic mass and the last book in the New Testament, Revelation. Now regarding to the ongoing tensions between Ukraine and Russia, it seems like at times it's getting more worse. And one of the Catholic devotions that gives me comfort and hope is the Holy Rosary and even the Chaplet of Saint Michael the archangel. And if and when I hear the words saying, "The end is near!!" I try not to let it bother me at all. And in the past years, there were dates for the end of the world such as Y2K 2000 and the ancient Mayan Calendar signaling the end of the world end on December 2012. But none of those doomsday events came true. So I have to be mindful of what Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24:36. The date is not set in stone.

Are you bored with the mass? Wish you could get more out of it? Thinking of going somewhere where you will be "entertained"? No need for entertainment, the mass is ALL you need! It truely is heaven on earth, if you only know what to look for. Scott Hahn will show the way. Awesome book!
