Parents looking to encourage reading in their minecraft obsessed child should get this book. It can provide a transition to survival stories like Hatchet or Robinson Crusoe to broaden a child's reading interests.

Loved this book. It is great on its own but gets so much better when you are a fan of the game as well. It is obvious that the author is a fan as well. He really makes the game come alive. Great book!

All and all it's well written and enjoyable, I enjoyed the humor and how the author wrote the world. Finished it in a day and a half, only wish this book came out when I was 14ish.
