I never cared about wine till I read this book
This is a funny book aimed at the wine novice. It’s bursting with personality and her descriptions are so evocative you can’t wait to run to the store and try some new varieties. Varietals, rather. I don’t think I could read any wine reference cover to cover like I could this one.
Too much hipster attitude
There is a lot of good information here but about 3 chapters in I got sick of her hipper than thou attitude. Also there is too much BS which has nothing to do with wine. I don’t care if she hates math. I have zero interest in her dating life when she was younger. Global warming is a big deal and organic wine can be good but the two things are not related.
Whine all the time.
Looking at her social media sites all she does is whine.
