About this ebook

He’s a player. He’s cocky. He’s not exactly a prince. Only he technically is. Meet your new royal obsession in this addictive novel from New York Times bestselling author Tracy Wolff.

Being rich opens a lot of doors. When you’re rich and royal, those doors lead to a new bedroom every night. I should know. The tabloids call me His Royal Hotness, Prince Kian of Wildemar. Women across the world see me as a naughty fairy tale, an image I’m happy to indulge. As the spare to the heir, I’m the prince with none of the power . . . and all of the perks.

Then my twin brother is kidnapped, and suddenly I’m the one who could be king. The crown chasers start circling—and yet it’s a luscious waitress who catches my eye. With a smart mouth and the curves to back it up, Savannah Breslin is as brazen as I’d expect an American commoner to be.

But Savvy’s not interested in playing Cinderella. As sexy as she is, she’s no stranger to heartbreak. Besides, a nice guy wouldn’t drag her into all the drama that comes along with royalty. Lucky I’m not a nice guy. And, as it turns out, I might not even be her first prince. . . .

Oh, man did I have fun with the book! I could not put it down! The characters, the story...it was all great! His Royal Hotness, Prince Kian is the second born son of King Wildemar and the spare to the heir. He spends his days partying and nights with different women...and he is just having fun. When his twin brother, Garrett, is kidnapped, Kian's life as he knows is over. He must step into his brother's duties. While at a function, being harassed by all the eligible females and their mother's, a waitress "accidentally" drops champagne all over him. Suddenly Kian is VERY attracted to this waitress, Savannah Breslin. Problem is that Savvy is not falling all over him like most females do and that only makes Kian want her all the more. Kian continues his pursuit of Savvy, and eventually she gives in. What neither of them expected was that their union was going to be explosive. Savvy knows she should not be with Kian, be he makes her feel so alive, unlike someone else from her past, that she can't let Kian go. Kian realizes that his feeling for Savvy are something that he has never felt before. Just when their relationship looks like it headed for happy ever after....a big bombshell is revealed. While Kian is trying to handle this bombshell, a rescue of Prince Garrett is finally happening. As Kian is trying to sort out his life, his feelings for Savvy, and having his twin back, he has some real soul searching to do. It was a long and emotional road for Kian to find his happy ending, but the ending was so worth it! I just adored Savvy. She was such a strong female character, knowing what she wanted and didn't want in her life. I really loved Kian too! He went from this fun, sexy playboy, to a man so totally in love! Read this book...you will not regret it!

At the start of Royal Pain, Kian is the typical playboy and then meets Savvy. Their initial interaction were witty and quite funny with Savvy's attitude and the banter between them, and I actually liked Savvy until she started to doubt everything. The he hasn't called, will he call, oh, no he's not going to call quickly became tedious, but I could've overlooked that. However, there were a few other things that I couldn't overlook. The blurb does allude to the fact that Kian may not be Savvy's first prince and I suppose I should've thought of it, but it didn't occur to me that her first prince could be Kian's brother. It's bad enough that his brother is missing and possibly dead, but he then pursue's this woman even after learning of her past relationship with his brother. For me, that part alone is a bit of an ick factor. Once our couple seals the deal, the story starts to go downhill at a rapid pace. Their marathon steamy times were repetitive and way over the top - I started skimming after around 20 pages on my Kindle on their first, umm, encounter, and skimmed the rest after that. One, in particular, was at least a couple of chapters long. I'm no prude and I do like a good steamy story, but once Kian and Savvy get together, there was very little story and lots and lots of getting together with Savvy freaking out over whether or not he'll call in between. I did finish the book, but not because I cared where the relationship was going. Honestly, I only wanted to see what happened to the brother, and that last bit of the book was the best of it for me. I understand that there is another His Royal Hotness novel coming, but if this one is any indication of what is to come, I think I'll skip it.

What a great read! Kian is the spare to his brother the heir. When his brother is kidnapped he is forced to step into the Crown Prince’s shoes. A position he does not, nor has he ever, wanted. Trying to not break protocol while fighting off the unwanted attentions of the aristocratic women that are swarming him, he is rescued by a waitress that snags his undivided attention. He hasn’t truly smiled in three months but suddenly he’s laughing and the weight on his shoulders has lifted. Savannah knows what needs to be done when she spies the prince trying to get away from the barracudas that are circling. Full of confidence she takes control of the situation and whisks Kian away. Unknowingly, she has just placed herself on his radar and things are never going to be the same. This is a well written, fast paced story so full of fun, steam, heartache, and drama that my kindle never snapped closed once I started it. I truly enjoyed this book and Tracy Wolff is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. My honest review is for a special copy from NetGalley that I voluntarily read. About the author

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Tracy Wolff wrote her first short story—something with a rainbow and a prince—in second grade, around the same time she forayed into the wonderful world of girls lit with her first Judy Blume novel. By ten she’d read everything in the young adult and classics sections of her local bookstore, so in desperation her mom started her on romance novels. And from the first page of the first book, Tracy knew she’d found her life-long love. A one-time English professor with over fifty novels to her name, she now devotes most of her time to writing romance and dreaming up heroes. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her family.
