i read the book,,it was nice to me as am not a regular reader,,then too towards the end i was curious for the end ,,i liked the thought that she accepts the winshire family. and the mother wit her daughter.

An excellent read. I felt as though i was going though each one of her trials and tribulations with her.Very inspirational and a rollercoaster of emotions. Hard to turn off light and sleep without finishing chapter! I will suggest this to my friends as a must read.

the book was great I loved the way Danielle steel told a story that took place in the 1850's she a great writer and deserves a prize.if you get a chance to read the book please pass it on to your children it emphasizes the moderate life of a good woman who marries and becomes a great aspect to all careers as though she had mages and sorcerers at her liege.
