I love this series but very disappointed by Iced. Majority of the book was in a 14 yr old's perspective. Granted that she is more mature than most her age, her language is typical of her age so all the "dudes", "mega", superhero talk got old fast...along with the typical 14 yr old attitude. I thought maybe the story line would fast forward her to an older age but nope. She stays 14 until Burned. I pretty much quick read this book, skimmed a lot passages, but finished it just to get the background story.

I think KMM lost something with this one. I have an issue with the number of grown men lusting after a fourteen year old girl. I get that the world that the story takes place is drastically different and that Dani acts older, that however doesn't stop the fact that she is still fourteen.

Loved it!! My only criticism is that Dani was suddenly speaking as if her IQ jumped 50 points between novels, which was not how I recall her verbal abilities in the "Fever" series!
