Kate McMullan (www.katemcmullan.com) is the author for over 75 books for children. For Grosset, she writes the Dragon Slayers Academy series, and for Dial, she co-writes the Riddles series under the pen name Katy Hall. Her other popular series include the Fluffy books for Scholastic and Myth-O-Mania for Hyperion, and she has written several award-winning picture books, I Stink! I'm Dirty!, illustrated by her husband, Jim McMullan. They live with their daughter, two cats, and a dog.
