Unabridged Audiobook
Didn’t want to turn it off... always looked forward to having a long drive. Just a JOY to enjoy :) Thank You
I love her Valelintine series books that take place in NYC and Italy and now Minisotta, about the Italian Family who are in the shoe making//design buisness. The narration is great and story line is less Waltons more modern even the newest book which is set during the turn o the 20th century. As far as the narration goes, I think authors need to stick to writting and let the actors do the narrating.(that goes double for Jackie Collins)
This is a hidden gem. After finishing it, I immediately checked to see if there were more titles by this author. I was delighted to discover that there were several, including a sequel to Big Stone Gap! It felt like Christmas! The character portrayal is wonderful; the author makes a wonderful narrator. The only flaw is that the plot is wrapped up a little too perfectly in the end.
Thoroughly enjoyed author/reader Adriana Trigiani...she really made the characters and story come alive. Have listened to all the selections offered...are there more?
I absolutely loved Adraiana Trigiani's books "Lucia Lucia" and "Queen of the Big Time" and didn't expect much from this title. I was wrong - the author's narration is warm and funny, and the story is charming. I moved the sequel up to the top of my rental shelf!
