slow book, not that exciting
Read “one by one” by Ruth ware for a better version of a similar story

If I can offer a suggestion to anyone interested in this book, purchase a hard copy.
I bet it’s a great story. I’ve suffered through as much as I can (2 hours I think).
With 4 hours left, I have to shut it off and give up.
As other reviewers have shared, this narrator is terrible!!! She has such a monotone, deep voice that it does not make for enjoyable listening. It’s robotic, and she does not ease into characters as they change. She reads the next character from the same breath and it’s SO FRUSTRATINGLY HARD TO FOLLOW! Blah!
I hate that I spent the money on this. I’ll be watching for her name on future narrations from now on.
Very Disappointed
Story was slow and so many fillers, unnecessary longgg descriptions of events with no relevance. The end was not too predictable but did not answer all the questions. Finally the narrator was too monotone in my opinion. I like the author very much so this was very disappointing.
