This is one of those novels that you really need to commit to. It starts out very slowly and doesn’t pick up for a while. The storyline itself was quite unique and well put together. The well written tale definitely took me on an adventure that the author made easy to picture. The author’s down played writing style brings various topics to light while at the same time allowing the readers to draw their own conclusions. The dual POV in the story makes it easy to see both sides of the story and allows Hart to develop the characters as they see themselves and as they’re seen by others. The characters were well developed. I really enjoyed the different manners in which each looked at their surroundings. It made them all unique. As a whole this was a very original tale. I did enjoy it. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
