Strong female lead and a mysterious introduction makes for an interesting beginning. However, the middle drags for quite a bit; pacing is a bit too slow. Good book if you finish it - push through to the end.

This book had me on the edge of my set, but at the same time I was angry for the characters because they literally couldn't win for losing. If you are really interested in dystopian future, syfy books, this is one I definitely recommend.

I was drawn into the story immediately. I can't imagine coping with being told I am a clone of someone else as well as the characters in this story do! Looking forward to reading Alight!
