Quite an intense read. I liked that Veronica is an actress and I got to see abit of how being in the limelight feels. Did not really like Ian, alot of his behavior was questionable.

Lovegame will draw you into a world of seduction, suspense and mystery. Best Selling crime novelist Ian Sharpe is doing research for his latest book and has accepted a job to interview Hollywood's leading lady Veronica Romero. Veronica was born into hollywood royalty and leads a very private life. Veronica learned at a young age an actress must use her sex appeal to get what they want and to hell with what others may think. Veronica just wrapped up her role in a movie based on one of Ian's books and has allowed Ian to spend a large amount of time researching and observing her for his latest novel. The only problem is Veronica isn't cooperating . She deflects questions when it comes to her personal life and tries every bag of trick she has to throw Ian off topic. As a former FBI profiler, Ian can tell the his observation and questions are leaving Veronica unsettled. It is more than just the usual distrust most actors have a the media. He knows she is hiding something and he is determined to unravel the mystery behind the woman. When Ian tours Veronica's home with her and then her mothers he starts to piece together a picture of a possible crime. But what does Veronica know, if anything, about this crime. Just as the picture starts to form strange things begin to happen to Veronica. Veronica starts having memory lapses and starts to fear she may be losing her mind. She is has been having nightmares since her last role she play based on Ian's book and she is having a difficult time separating herself from the character she played. Veronica is frightened and doesn't know who to trust. Can she trust Ian to help her find out what is going on? This book was extremely well written and kept me guessing throughout the story. I loved watching the trust and relationship grow between these two throughout the story. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery. I received am eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are strictly my own.

An amazing read! It's intense, a bit dark, sensual, and hugely emotional! This is a bit of a departure from Ms. Wolff's norm and she did an incredible job with it! The story is part erotica, part thriller, and a whole lot of suspense. There is so much going on it's hard to recap but Ian and Veronica will take you on an emotional roller coaster and keep you reading well into the night! This is a book I highly recommend.

About the author
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Tracy Wolff wrote her first short story—something with a rainbow and a prince—in second grade, around the same time she forayed into the wonderful world of girls lit with her first Judy Blume novel. By ten she’d read everything in the young adult and classics sections of her local bookstore, so in desperation her mom started her on romance novels. And from the first page of the first book, Tracy knew she’d found her life-long love. A one-time English professor with over fifty novels to her name, she now devotes most of her time to writing romance and dreaming up heroes. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her family.
