Marya Hornbacher is an American author and journalist. She was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for her autobiographical account of her struggle with eating disorders, Wasted: A Memoir of Anorexia and Bulimia, which has been translated into 16 languages and sold more than a million copies in the United States.
