    Mexican wondering Author and Illustrator based in London. Born in Morelia (google the town: it's gorgeous and full of monarch butterflies!), I arrived in Paris in 2012 to pursue a life full of colour, characters, stories and pastries. At the time, I worked in a yellow apartment carefully supervised by a glutton dalmatian who'd wait patiently to drag me out into the park so he could be petted and admired.

    I now have a blue cat and live in London, UK. The cat often gets admired and petted, too.

    Ransom has published more than 150 books for children, and she is amazed every day that she's able to do this as her life's work.
