The Lawnmower Man: And Other Stories from Night Shift

1. Lawnmower Man 2. Sometimes They Come Back 3. Quitters, Inc. 4. The Ledge. 5. The Mangler. Good stories. Night Shift has some of Kings best short stories, and the lawnmower sound fx and music were a great touch. But the fact that the books stories are spread out over 3 separate audiobooks, AND those 3 books ($10 a piece) don't even have all the stories is a real gyp. It's not the longest of books (and Kings long audiobooks are still only $30 max) so paying $30 to get ALMOST the whole of Night Shift sucks. And there is no 4th book to complete the set. The listener is just screwed. The publishers really milked the public for cash, and don't even deliver the full set of stories. Plus, they want $11 more just for the missing story Children of the Corn. Go on YouTube and you can listen to that one for free. Out of the 3 separate audiobooks of Night Shift Stories, this one is my favorite. I would give the whole Night Shift book 5 stars, but only 4 for the way they cheat you and overcharge

Some of these short stories were pretty cool. I enjoyed getting through them.
