About this ebook

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

A landmark volume in science writing by one of the great minds of our time, Stephen Hawking’s book explores such profound questions as: How did the universe begin—and what made its start possible? Does time always flow forward? Is the universe unending—or are there boundaries? Are there other dimensions in space? What will happen when it all ends?

Told in language we all can understand, A Brief History of Time plunges into the exotic realms of black holes and quarks, of antimatter and “arrows of time,” of the big bang and a bigger God—where the possibilities are wondrous and unexpected. With exciting images and profound imagination, Stephen Hawking brings us closer to the ultimate secrets at the very heart of creation.

I didn't like this book ! Because It is just explaining ! I realized that physics without mathematics is like you can guess why it happens and how it happens but you can't really use that and predict that ! It's hard to say whether it was useful or not but I think Stephen hawking did a great job , the problem is I'm not a fan of physics without actual learning! Stephen hawking himself didn't learn physics this way !

This book does an excellent job of explaining concepts in a way that ordinary people can understand. There were numerous instances while reading this book that I had to look up and utter "wow...". The only drawback is that the electronic version has the illustrations on hyper links, as opposed to a physical copy which would have the illustrations either on the same page or the next page. This makes looking at the illustrations and connecting them to the reading a little bit annoying.

In finding the answer to your life work, there lies the answer to your disease, and mind. I'll openly admit that I was diagnosed, and then re- diagnosed with the attributes of schizophrenia. With every question it is already being answered. As many braincells as every star we can calculate any and every question, with even the answer on this world, contributing other worlds they have it for ours. I don't necessarily believe in a god(s), but as you said we are not alone. Everything of thought is an answer of the question. Not one, but many. I'm looking forward to infusing your logic into mine.
