The book was definitely able to fill some of the glaring holes presented by the film. However, much like the film the book felt too fast paced. I wish the book had explored more about the charecters thoughts and emotions but what it did explore was welcomed and appreciated. Ultimately the book is well worth the read and the purchase price. I simply would have liked "more".

I love almost all Star Wars material. But the Sequels books leave quite a bit of having to piece your own sort of plot lines. I mean the authors did a hell of a better job than the crappola we received from the mouse's story writers. But having said that the book was a good read.
