Thinking bigger is the answer
This story is so powerful.
There was no clear vision of what Summit was to become. It all just came to be by consistently thinking big!
He didn’t allow others to deter his level of belief which is how Summit came to be what it is.
The power of community is shown in the book. All of Elliotts successes came from connecting with people that were thinking and doing bigger things than him which pushed and challenged him to achieve things nobody else has. Even just witnessing his RA who was selling T-shirts in college… my lesson hear is to never stop pursuing relationships with those that are dreamers and go getters.
Couldn’t put it down
I first heard of Elliott and Summit through reading "The Third Door" a few years ago and have followed what the team has been doing at Summit since then. I had seen speakers for some of the more recent events, but I had no idea of how they got to the point they're at now. It's amazing to learn the stories of everything that has gone into building this - the ups and downs. It reads like an adventure - one that you can't put down. I was immediately hooked and finished it in 24 hours. Somehow, the authors manage to turn a 15 year journey into an easily digestible story. I'd recommend this to anyone, whether they're 20 years into their career or just starting out.
Boring
Book is pretty boring. Well accomplished guys just sharing their business stories. Nothing that gave insight to an entrepreneur that can build a company, grow a brand and have deep insights into strategy and execution. I stopped listening halfway through.
