Very Good
I was hesitant on reading books about Thrawn, I don’t know why because this is one of the best Star Wars books I’ve ever listened to ( I’ve listened to over twenty).
Terrible accents
Good book. But the accents used by narrator for diff characters are god awful. Borderline racist foo. Apparently the Chiss have Germans and Asians and more. Thrawn himself is good. Zahns work is imaginative and intelligent
Another home run!
I’m not going to lie this one was slow to start. The fact that it takes place before the Thrawn series when he was recruited by the empire kind of threw me off. Once I was able to establish who the new characters were I was able to get over it. The story is fantastic and as always Timothy Zhan performs narration in a master class of his own. The only reason I dropped it to 4 stars was because of the voice he used for the young skywalker. That was a little annoying but if you can push through it I highly recommend giving this a listen. On to the next book in the series.
