I have been reading Mr Brooks books for decades. He never disappoints, and this new series is proof of his mastery of storytelling. Thank you so much Brooks for the wonderful stories !

Terry Brooks is a master of his craft and Daughter of Darkness is another example of why. The second book in the Viridian Deep series sees Auris happily married to her Fae partner, Harrow. A surprise attack see's Harrow's life force taken. With two new companions at her side, Auris attempts to unlock the secrets of her past. This book was a quick, fun, read. The death of a couple of key characters was saddening. Yes, it got an emotional response from me. I was angry! I wanted them to live! LOL!
