I have a lot of trouble with the price of some ebooks. I pay but still dont own the book! I can't lend it to friends like I would if I'd bought a hard copy. All you get for your one off payment is a read. How many books have you ever wanted to read more than once? I can name one - lord of the rings. Read it in high school, again in my late 20's, a 3rd time before it came out as a movie, listened to it read on tape when I wasn't well, probably might watch the movies again and read it once more before I die - I'm 60. Cost? 1st and second read free from the library. Bought each book cheaply from 2nd hand stalls. Tapes - 2 bucks from the OP shop. The movies - rented and/or borrowed. I love to read. I'm not well, I have a medical condition that makes it difficult to get to the public library. What's a good price for the lend of a book with only 150 pages, that you can't lend to anyone else? I don't care about reputation or awards the author might have. Come on, tell me. I feel exploited because I'm incapacitated? Thoughts??????
