This book was not even close to being as entertaining as the first. It started off well, but the timeline was too big of a jump for me. I was intrigued with the premise of a Vietnam soldier, but she lost me with how dull the progression was. Too short as well to let the story fully develop. I'm not giving up on the series and hope the next one will be better.
