I realize I rated these books at a 4 star rating and my husband and I haven't even read any of these books as of yet. Though if these books are anywhere as close to intrigueing as their titles are; I am sure they will have earned the rating and may need bumped up even one more. My husband and I are always interested in strange and unusual facts, laws or such, then we research these things just to see if they are still on the books as a law and such. You would be surprised at some of these things we find when we research them. For instantce in Texas if you are found coming from a farmers ranch who's fence has just been cut and you happen to have wire cutters in your truck you could be held for breaking and entering along with a bunch of other charges depending on what all kind of damage was done on the property/ or to livestock. What is even stranger than that is the punishment for this is still hanging from a tree till dead. If you feel the need to test me, please look it up.

A book mainly about random world events. Some interesting facts for sure but, you can find most of these 'facts' on random news articles. Glad I bought it on sale because the full price isn't worth it. Felt like I was reading a vague history book from high school.
