Honest, brilliantly written, with addiction well understood. Would have been wrong to temper any of it. Raw and insightful. Original.

This is a scary reality that shakes you to the core. You shake your head at her drinking all the while rooting for her sobrity.

Jowita Bydlowska was born in Warsaw, Poland, and moved to Canada as a teenager. Her work has appeared in various publications, including Salon and the Huffington Post. She lives in Toronto, Canada, with her son and his father.
