As per the norm with Benedict Jacka, I loved the book. From the initial Fated book, through the series and within Veiled, Jacka impresses. The Alex Verus series is a definite must buy for me on release date. One of the few series I buy both digitally and physically. No spoilers, but it was nice to see Verus expand himself into other endeavors. Seeing Luna get some new skill(s), even noting the source, is excellent as well. Thanks you for the excellent novel, Mr Jacka! Looking forward to the next :)

Action scenes are some of the best I can find in a sci-fi/fantasy book. The author keeps you on the edge, while feeding you details on the settings. The series has not lost its steam.

The longer I read this series the more I like it. Alex is flawed and heroic in all the right ways.
About the author
Benedict Jacka is half-Australian, half-Armenian, and grew up in London. He’s worked as a teacher, bouncer, and civil servant, and spends his spare time skating and playing tabletop games. He’s the author of the Alex Verus series, including Hidden, Chosen, and Taken.
