Everyone says that middle school is awful, but Trent knows nothing could be worse than the year he had in fifth grade, when a freak accident on Cedar Lake left one kid dead, and Trent with a brain full of terrible thoughts he can't get rid of. Trent’s pretty positive the entire disaster was his fault, so for him middle school feels like a fresh start, a chance to prove to everyone that he's not the horrible screw-up they seem to think he is.

I loved this book and I think everyone would love it to because , I can
tell what a good book is just by its cover . When I read it at my school my
BFF wanted to read it too than we got our teacher to read it , and she did
and she love love loved it so much . It is now me and my bff favorite book
. And , we only had it for one week and we finished it . We got it from our
school librarian and I'm pretty sure she's reading it now . We all loved
the book so much . Thank you to whoever made it , it was such a good story
, about how friendship starts .

I loved this book. Such a good story, I love the definition and meaning each character brought to the book. I would give it six out of five stars!

It is an amazing book. Highly recommend. It made me cry. Amazing emotions. The characters are complex, yet detailed. Truly, an amazing story.
