Summary
I FELT LIKE I WAS TRAPPED IN ONE OF THOSE TERRIFYING NIGHTMARES…
For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is even more dangerous than Bella ever could have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of one evil vampire, but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realize their troubles may be just beginning. . . .
Legions of readers entranced by the New York Times bestseller Twilight are hungry for the continuing story of star-crossed lovers Bella and Edward. In New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural spin. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.

this is very helpful for the younger teens to read and follow along to a great series. you just get lost in the story and before you know it its over.

Normal not a fan of this style of book (vampires) , and I have found that if I enjoy a book often times te second book fails to hold my interest ,but I enjoy this book just as much as the first one. hoping the next book will be as good!

Illiana can only do so much with the material she has been given. I am completely disappointed that this book and this series is considered literature. i stuck through the end hoping to see some redeeming qualities and to find the application that my friends have for the series . What I found was angsty poorly writtrn drivel. Good on Stephanie Meyer to get people to read this mess and enjoy it.

It was like reliving my childhood all over again. I loved this book as much as the first time I read it. The narration was excellent as well.

I'm not sure what that Edward voice was, but it was ROUGH. Even when the character was saying something regularly she uses this weird voice that sounds like someone trying to be sexy?

The book is better than the movie as the author gives more intense details of the characters emotions and of course the relationship between bella and edward. Jake is also a huge part of the book so you learn more about him. the narrator is awesome and she has the perfect tone and vulnerability.

The story line was fairly interesting but it could have been told in half the length. It dragged on too long. Wish there was an abridged version.

Anne Rice fans beware. This will not live up to your expectations. I'm perplexed by the hype this series has received. I think I can understand its appeal to a younger market but, for me, it was just melodramatic, teenage romangst.

I love this book even though Bella tends to be a little over dramatic. I was however quite disappointed in the choice of narrator. She is not always easy to follow during conversations between characters and sometimes reads the book like a child who has just learned to read. Her voice is also quite whiny which makes Bella's over dramatic nature a little hard to take at times. I think that I would have like to have heard this read by someone that sounds a little more like and adult and who was willing to make some type of voice changes with the character conversations.

New Moon is much better than Twilight. Although most of this story just leads up to the ending, I loved how this book gave the readers another side of Bella, which involved Jacob. Looking forward to Eclipse.

I'm relatively new to the Twilight series, and I really enjoyed this in the audio version. The reader breathed life into the characters, a most enjoyable book.

Not as good as the first book (unless you are Team Jacob). However, every book in this series is incredible.

This book starts out really rough. A whole bunch of whining and melodrama... but that is the very definition of Twilight. The author still isn't very good, but the reader is perfect for the story. This book was definitely better than the first one, even with the tough start.

I wish the narrator would have put in more effort towards Edwards voice. She really threw me off.
