Shadowdale... a must read!
Once you pick up this book, you won’t be able to put it down. I highly recommend for everyone who loves the Forgotten Realms, you must read this book.
Meh
It was necessary for me to read this book, as I came to a portion of the Drizzt series that glossed over much of this. I am going to force myself into the next book hoping it it better written. The opportunity for a grand adventure in this time and setting in D&D was squandered. So much needed to be added to this in order to make sense. It seemed that the book was trying to meet the requirements of a pre-written story line from a campaign instead of methodically laying out what happened in the realms and why these random environmental changed occurred. Betty frustrating read.
