Thrilling suspense and action keeps readers on the edge of their seat in this fast paced and smooth flowing plot. Keri Arthur paints a vivid world with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the well orchestrated action and suspense ensure that the reader wants to know every last detail. Sam and Gabriel are vibrant characters that grab the reader’s attention and draw them deeper into the series. Spine tingling anticipation builds throughout the story as surprising secrets are revealed and danger escalates adding lots of excitement to the story. I was completely engrossed in the story from the very beginning and I have really enjoyed the series but I have to say that while I loved Gabriel and Sam’s personal happy ending, I am hoping that there are to be future books to answer a few questions especially concerning Joshua and the war that is coming and the rest of the Federation. I also want to recommend that the series be read in sequence to get the full understanding and enjoyment out of Sam’s story. 4 ½ STARS
