An emotional read for me, second in a great series
Hard to put down. This is the second in the series, but it stands alone with recurrent characters. I smiled. I held my breath. I cried. I wanted to smack Tino upside his head. Despite her upbringing, Natalie's feet were firmly on the ground because she cared so much about other less fortunate people, and I loved that about her. She had finally realized what she wanted and went after it. Tino was still trying to figure out life outside of the military, and he almost loses the one thing that would help him. I highly recommend this story and the series, and I look forward to more from Alexis Morgan.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It's a sweet, low angst contemporary romance with a small town feel and strong family bonds. It's well written with interesting characters and a good pace making it a perfect book for relaxing and simply enjoying a good story.
After the death of his father Tino Gianelli has left his military career behind and returned home to help his mother through the loss and his brother keep the family business going. He's not sure what direction his life will go but for now he's content. Then he meets the incomparable Natalie Kennigan. She's funny, beautiful, and sexy. Oh and an heiress to one of the wealthiest families around. The doubts and fears that plagued Tino throughout his rough childhood before coming to live with Marlene and Joe are resurfacing. He has nothing to offer a woman like Natalie so what could she possibly see in him. The thing is Natalie is one of the most down to earth people there is. She needs Tino to see her. Really see her and accept that he's more than enough for her.
As I said this was a very enjoyable book and one I am recommending to everyone.
