Artemis Fowl Movie Tie-In Edition

I was a little worried when I saw that Disney released a "Movie Tie-In Edition", and that this is the only edition of audiobook available anywhere for book one. For anyone else concerned about this or disappointed, let me assure you that this is still the original book one by Eoin Colfer as we know it, just read by a new narrator. The text remains unchanged, save for a few words and phrases throughout (no doubt changed to make it easier to read aloud) that don't change the meaning at all. There is somewhat obnoxious music during the Prologue and the Epilogue, but the rest of the story remains untouched by it. As for the story itself, Artemis Fowl is guaranteed to be a good time and remains one of my favorite stories to read or listen to. The cast is unique and fun, the writing is family-friendly and packed with imagination and humor.

I loved this series as a kid and I still enjoy it to this day.
