I enjoy a good story, and I heard about John Green's work through my friends. I figured his books must be good if they are being made into movies. Initially, I liked it a lot: the plot was interesting and most characters were highly developed. However, towards the end (after the cow incident), it got tiring to read; the end itself wasn't that good either. Though it highlighted an important life lesson, Paper Towns left me saddened for the characters I became so attached to.

Great book. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's John Green's best book. I didn't find it as insightful as The Fault in Our Stars but the story was great. I think it captured high school and graduation very accurately as to how everyone feels at that time in their lives. I found Q to be extremely relatable and I found his friendships inspiring. This book was funny and entertaining and I think that I would definitely read it again. Two thumbs up.

I liked it the plot, but like most of John Green's books, it was another love story. I don't usually like them, but I think that this book was pretty good, and I really liked the characters for their differing personalities. I didn't like that the main character had a huge crush on Margo, even though he hasn't talked to her for years. It seemed unrealistic to me.
